The Friel  Necklace is a vibrant piece made from enameled metal.

This long line, snake chain design offers colour and texture to any outfit. Team with a monochrome outfit for a pop of colour.  

Materials & Makers Notes

This style is designed by the Elk team in Melbourne and made at a Chinese factory that is managed by Korean company Cielo Sereno. Cielo is owned and operated by Eun Hee Kim who we know as Olive. She is an incredible creative with a young family who established her business in 2004 after she studied at Central Saint Martins' School of Fashion in London.

A variety of techniques are used to make this piece, including casting, polishing and high-quality plating. The end result is a super light, fine finish. The factory that it is made in is located in Nanquan, China in the Shandong Province.

As Cielo operate as an agent for Elk, Elk are actively working with Olive to increase transparency across the entire operation.

Care Instructions

Brass Alloy

This piece is made from a metal alloy that contains brass and zinc however is nickel free. You should avoid abrasive surfaces to ensure the surface doesn't scratch and keep the item in a pouch or cloth when it isn't worn. The chain is excellent quality however you should take care when removing jumpers or scarves to try not to pull on it too hard!
